Prestige lover's choice is almost always excellent. They crave for quality and comfort. So with this view, smart engineers of Ford produced a heavenly worth New Ford Fiesta, more powerful than the older one, Fiesta classic which was the handling benchmark in this segment. The stylish and striking this new model has become the segment leader now. In this growing market of midsized sedan, Ford will have to take iron grip to get back in to the volumes game. It is based on a global platform. Ford's kinetic design philosophy worked wonder. The Fiesta has a very fascinating design. It gives a very elegant and prominent look showing all its European counterparts traits, especially cat eye headlamps and the trapezoidal air-dam on the bumper giving a novel identity to Ford at universal level.
The pulled back designer headlamps add the beauty to its front face forming the focal point of the design while the further small slit grille with the blue oval logo and a big trapezoidal air dam are characteristically Ford. Its steep slope bonnet has two well-defined lines starting from behind the headlamps. The lines run smoothly all the way to the rear and the side view is especially sharp. Secondly the inclined waistline bears a prominent resemblance to the Hyundai Verna's. The high waist with the trimmed glass area above is shaped like a smooth arch showing muscular character. The 15-inch alloys shod with 195-section tyres proved powerful built design. Though the Fiesta is a proper three-box sedan, it looks like a hatchback with a notch as the boot area is short and stubby giving beauty to the rear end with these stylish tail lamps. But the tail lamps look a bit small in this high boot design. No doubt, the Fiesta is definitely a sporty one as compared to a midsize sedan but has turned out a bit too compact and so lacks the impression of a big car, like its other siblings.
Ford India launched the new Ford Fiesta in four variants each in diesel and petrol variants and the petrol variant is equipped with 1.5 L Ti-VCT engine offering a decent mileage of around 17 kmpl and the diesel engine with a 1.5 L TDCi is expected to offer a mileage of 23.5 kmpl. The factors which make it uniquely different as compared to other cars of the same segment are its kinetic design, loads of first in class features and outstanding communication ease on the go.
